Karma Automotive hosted a ribbon cutting for its newly opened technical center in Troy, Oct. 24. The center is located at 1875 Research Drive, near I-75 and East Maple Road.
The grand opening was attended by government officials and auto suppliers.、
“Our Detroit Technical Center is growing fast. Today, we have 36 employees and we look to grow to 150 over the next 3 years,” Scott Sabin, Director, Troy Technical Center said in a press release. “Detroit is the center of engineering expertise for the automotive industry, so it makes sense for us to have an office here,” he said.
Karma Automotive is based in Southern California. It officially unveiled the 2017 Revero luxury hybrid automobile in September.
